Note that the policy q-DATO uses for defining a positive call is baesd on following protocol:
- Positive: A sample is called as positive if it yields a positive result (Ct<40) in a majority of the probes.
- Negative: A sample is called as negative if it yields a negative result (Ct>40) in all of the probes.
- Ambiguous: Otherwise the sample is ambiguous, and is subject to a retest.
- Positive on retest: A sample is called as positive if it yields a positive result (Ct<40) in a majority of the probes.
- Negative on retest: Otherwise the sample is called as negative
